He was friends with anyone, everyone knew him or knew of him. He was sweet, kind, loyal, truthworthy, and he never judged anyone. During my summer of 8th grade (i am now a sophomore) he moved to new york while I was stuck here in RI. We still remained best friends. He was the new kid in school, he stood out from everyone at his new school, but eventually he found his place. But being the new kid and everything can lead to bullying. He got bullied. People would call him names such as “faggot”, or “gay”, when he wasn’t, people would slam him into lockers, or try to fight him. Everyday he would call me up crying, telling me what people were doing to him. It was never like that here. Things in his life went downhill fast, his parents didn’t care about him, they just let the bullying continue. Eventually, skipping to june 2009 he told me he wanted to end his life. As soon has I found out I went to new york as fast as I could and tried my hardest to stop him. I talked to him, not just me a few of his close friends did too, but all I can say is it was the worst 48 hours of my life. He shot himself in front of me. My best friend. Died. In front of my own eyes. The funeral, was so much worse, it’s a horrible experience and feeling going to a funeral for your best friend.
